Welcome to my website. My name is Vivienne Latchford and I'm fully qualified (DAI) and experienced tutor for dyslexia and slow learners.

Children with Dyslexia are often of gifted intelligence, but have a hard time learning to read the way other students do. Dyslexia can take so many forms that parents and teachers may not realize a student is struggling with reading and writing. If your child is dyslexic, I would like to offer you resources to help work with dyslexia and make learning easier and more pleasant for him or for her. Phone me for information about dyslexia.

It is FUN to learn! Play = Learning.

Learning is not always easy, but it should be fun. Basically, if you are having fun learning, you will get more out of the activity.

• Children will remember the material better
• Children will be able to transfer learning experience easier to other learning situations
• Children are thinking by requiring interpretation of the observed events, rather than memorization of correct responses.
